Melt Gemini

Hey loves; long time no blog! I’ve been slacking with writing for a while & figured I’d get back into it! Unless you’ve been living under a rock – you’ve probably seen all the buzz surrounding the recent launch of the Melt Cosmetics palette; Gemini. If you’ve been following me for awhile; you’d know that I’m a huge fan of Melt products & the owners. I was stoked when they started showing sneak peeks on their IG about the Gemini palette – I knew I had to have it!

Keep on reading if you want to know the deets, my thoughts & swatches!

Gemini

The Gemini palette was curated by the lovely Lora Arellano who is a Gemini hence the palette name. This palette was limited edition (I think there’s talk of bringing it back…) & it sold out in only a couple of hours! Did you manage to snag this before it was too late?

This palette is a green lovers dream – it comes with 8 matte shades & 2 shimmers. You get 0.66oz of product for $58.00USD ($75CAD). The shadows perform really well on the eyes, pack some major pigment & blend nicely! I had no issues with this palette & I feel like it’s going to be a staple for me in the fall months (or all year ’round honestly). The only shade that really has a inconsistency issue is “Gemini” – it’s super soft & flakes in the pan pretty easily but on the eyes I had no issue!
